About Sarah

Sarah is a planning and hospitality lawyer, with experience in planning, gaming and liquor law, who has worked in both national and specialist law firms.

Sarah’s principal areas of expertise include all aspects of planning law, planning and development approvals, environmental litigation, due diligence, environmental audits, compulsory acquisitions, liquor licensing, gaming and heritage law.

Sarah’s experience includes providing advice and appearance work in relation to planning, gaming and liquor matters and applications before VCAT, VCGLR and at Planning Panels Victoria, including managing and coordinating large legal and expert witness teams, from town planning and urban design consultants to architects and traffic engineers.

Over the years she has acted in many projects, including shopping centres, office towers, restaurants, infrastructure, sporting and entertainment complexes, subdivisions, higher density housing and industrial premises. Sarah has worked with a full range of clients from developers to small companies and private individuals.

She also has experience in general commercial and property work, including hospitality commercial transactions.

Sarah is a member of the Victorian Planning and Environment Law Association (VPELA), Law Institute of Victoria and the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA).
