About Andrew
Andrew is a special counsel in BSP Lawyers’ commercial and real estate practice groups. He works closely with the firm’s directors and our other lawyers to progress commercial and property related matters for our clients.
Andrew has extensive experience in many areas of commercial law, including the purchase and sale of businesses, commercial retail and industrial properties, commercial leasing and the drafting of complex commercial documents.
- Acting for a number of hospitality clients, to advise on the sales of hotels and gaming venues and other businesses; advising on and drafting leases for hotel and gaming venues and other commercial premises; and providing advice around relevant legislation, including the Gambling Regulation Act, Liquor Control Reform Act, and Retail Leases Act.
- Advising on responsibilities of landlords and tenants for repair and maintenance of premises.
- Drafting partnership agreements and shareholder and unit-holder agreements.
Andrew is often sought after for his high level technical skills and legal analysis of difficult commercial matters. He also advises clients on GST, stamp duty, land tax and other real estate and business issues. As an additional area of expertise, he works in our wills and estate planning group in the drafting of more complex wills and trusts.
